Expectant parents are invited to an informative and fun prenatal class series at DeTar Hospital North from 6 p.m. - 8 p.m. at DeTar Hospital North’s cafeteria located at 101 Medical Drive, Victoria. Upcoming dates for the series are May 27, June 4 & June 10; July 23, 30 and Aug. 6; Sept. 24, 29 and Oct. 4; and Nov. 25, Dec. 3 and 10. Whether you're a first-time parent or adding to your family, this class is perfect for you. Learn about pregnancy and childbirth from our experienced healthcare professionals. Get your questions answered and meet other expecting parents. Don't miss out on this opportunity to prepare for the arrival of your little one.

DeTar North’s childbirth education class uses an engaging approach to prepare expectant parents for the journey through late pregnancy, labor and early postpartum care. It covers a broad spectrum of topics, from birth planning and medical procedures to practical aspects of newborn care and comfort measures during labor. We tour the labor and delivery department and spend time in a labor room understanding equipment and labor positioning.
