Looking Back at 2025 with Gratitude, Moving Forward with Purpose

As we welcome the start of 2026, I would like to express my sincere gratitude for the past year and the individuals who made such an impact on our community. Thank you to the people who keep healthcare moving forward in Victoria and throughout the Crossroads.
First and foremost, I am deeply grateful to the extraordinary employees of DeTar Healthcare System. Our team members are the foundation of everything we do. Day in and day out, they go above and beyond to deliver safe, high-quality care with compassion, professionalism and heart. They show up for our patients and for one another, often in challenging circumstances, and they do so with unwavering dedication. Simply put, they are heroes—every single day.
I also want to thank our medical staff. We are fortunate to have such a strong network of primary care providers and specialty physicians serving the Crossroads. Their commitment to their patients and to this community is evident in the care they provide and the countless hours they dedicate to being accessible when they are needed most. We are proud to work alongside you in caring for our neighbors, friends and families.
Healthcare is a team effort, and we are grateful for our partners throughout the region—emergency medical services, our rural hospitals, nursing homes and assisted living communities, hospice providers, home health agencies and other local healthcare organizations. Each plays a vital role in the continuum of care, helping ensure our community receives the support and services it needs at every stage of life.
Most importantly, thank you to our patients. The trust you place in DeTar Healthcare System is something we never take lightly. Our team works every day with one goal in mind: to care for you and your loved ones close to home. It is a privilege to serve the people of Victoria and the surrounding Crossroads communities, and we are honored to be part of your healthcare journey.
