Dr. Christopher Scott Manatt, Board-Certified Urologist, Joins DeTar Medical Group

DeTar Medical Group welcomes Christopher Scott Manatt, M.D., a board-certified urologist, to its team of providers. Dr. Manatt provides specialized care for men and women with conditions affecting the kidneys, bladder, urinary tract, prostate and male reproductive system.
Dr. Manatt is practicing at DeTar Medical Plaza, 605 E. San Antonio St., Suite 509 E., where he offers both medical and surgical treatment options tailored to each patient’s individual needs. Whether patients are dealing with a common urologic concern or a more complex condition, his goal is to help them understand their options and develop a treatment plan that fits their health needs and lifestyle.
Dr. Manatt earned his medical degree from The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio and completed his urology residency through the Department of Urology at The University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center. He is board certified by the American Board of Urology.
His practice includes evaluation and treatment for a wide range of urologic conditions. These include bladder problems, bladder and kidney cancer, enlarged prostate, erectile dysfunction, blood in the urine, kidney and ureteral stones, prostate cancer, and stress and urge incontinence.
Dr. Manatt also provides several surgical services, including procedures to treat kidney stones, hydroceles and varicoceles, as well as vasectomy. He works with each patient to determine the most appropriate approach, whether treatment involves monitoring, medication, a minimally invasive procedure or surgery.
