DeTar On Demand Walk-In Clinic Expands Weekday Hours Beginning February 2

DeTar Healthcare System announces expanded weekday hours for the DeTar On Demand Walk-In Clinic, making it even easier for patients in the Crossroads area to receive convenient, same-day care. Beginning Monday, February 2, the clinic’s weekday hours will expand from 8 a.m. – 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. – 7 p.m., Monday through Friday. Weekend hours remain unchanged at 8 a.m. – 4 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
The extended hours are designed to provide greater flexibility for patients who need prompt medical attention before work, after work, or during busy weekdays. “Our goal is always to make accessing care as easy and convenient as possible for our community,” said Stephanie King, physician practice director for DeTar Medical Group. “By extending our weekday hours, we can better accommodate patients who may need to be seen sooner or who prefer to visit the clinic before their workday begins. This change helps us meet patients where they are and when they need us most.”
DeTar On Demand delivers walk-in and primary care services and is conveniently located in North Victoria, directly in front of the Wal-Mart Super Center at: 9006 N. Navarro St., Suite B, Victoria, TX 77904. While no appointment is necessary, patients can schedule a visit time using DeTar’s online registration tool on mydetardoctor.com from a desktop, laptop or handheld device. After answering a few simple questions, patients can save their spot in line and choose a time that fits their schedule.
DeTar On Demand offers extended hours to best meet patients’ needs, with care delivered by family nurse practitioners overseen by a family medicine physician. The clinic is open to patients of all ages and accepts most insurance plans.
Providers seeing patients at DeTar On Demand include:
- Sheila Browning, FNP-C – A family nurse practitioner with more than two decades of nursing experience. Prior to joining DeTar On Demand, Browning served as a registered nurse for 20 years and brings clinical experience from emergency, pediatric, med/surg/oncology, home health, school nursing and adult ICU settings.
- Holly Holland, FNP-C – A family nurse practitioner who provides compassionate, patient-centered care. Before joining DeTar On Demand, Holland served as a registered school nurse and later as a registered nurse in multiple DeTar departments. She earned her Master of Science in nursing with a focus on family practice.
