DeTar Medical Group Welcomes New Oncologist, Billie Marek, M.D., FACP

DeTar Medical Group is pleased to introduce Billie J. Marek, M.D., FACP, as the newest addition to the oncology team. With over 30 years post-board experience, Dr. Marek specializes in delivering compassionate care to patients diagnosed with cancer and other hematological disorders.
“DeTar Medical Group is excited to expand oncology services to Crossroads residents who are unable or reluctant to travel to metropolitan areas. This allows Crossroads residents to receive compassionate, quality oncology and hematology care close to home,” said Bernard Leger, DeTar Healthcare System’s CEO.

Dr. Marek will see patients at the DeTar Cancer Center, located at 601 E San Antonio, St. Victoria, TX 77901. To further improve access to care, he will also see patients at satellite clinics in the surrounding communities, including Cuero, Edna, El Campo, Gonzales, and Hallettsville.
