Support groups play a vital part in the success of our patients. Having Bariatric surgery is the tool and learning behavior lifestyle changes is the key to long term success. Attending a group with common issues and similar goals makes your commitment stronger.
Our group offers a comfortable, welcoming environment in which patients can come together to learn, have fun and be inspired. It’s a place to meet and share hopes, fears, and ideas and get success tips from the leaders, guest speakers, from written handouts and each other.
Statistics show that when you set a specific appointment with another person(s) related to implementing that goal/plan your probability of completing that goal is 95%. Much higher than trying to do it without having accountability from a group’s leaders/peers, etc.
