At the DeTar Health Center, fitness is fun. Staffed by registered nurses, exercise physiologists, personal trainers, and massage therapists, the Health Center offers many programs for adults and children.

DeTar Heathcare System Active Advantage

DeTar's Active Advantage program is located in the DeTar Health Center, 4204 N. Laurent. Active Advantage is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing healthy options and activities for people 50 years of age and older. With over 300,000 members nationwide, members of Active Advantage receive discounts on many products and services all around the country.

Some of the benefits of Active Advantage include discounts on prescription drugs, hotel accommodations, car rental, eye wear, security systems, retirement planning, recreational tours, and much more. Benefits and services available to all members, employed and retired.

Membership includes local chapter meetings, Thursday game days, crafts, movies, dutch treat luncheons and also escorted day/extended trips. Members are also given a discount at the DeTar Health Center and 4 free meal tickets for your spouse or caregiver at each admission to a DeTar Healthcare System facility.
